The Filming extravaganza

Ok so much of the details are still under wraps until its release, but you may know that AIVDT filmed the new Empire Of The Sun video "Standing On The Shore". But here is what we can tell you

1) It was heaps of fun - we had an absolute ball. Luke Steele and his wife are awesome people, really relaxed and lots of fun to be around.

2) There's a lot of work that goes in to making something look effortless - makeup, costume malfunctions, crazy weather, huge behind the scenes crew, and many takes

3) It is a lot harder to dance in soft sand than you would think - it is also hard to do so when you can't actually see

4) The days are long, and you WILL get tired - the trick is to remember that you are getting paid and stay professional

5) Catering is the best thing ever - and Mrs Steele's honey jumble cake is to die for. Actually so is her potato bake

6) I knew Luke's brother and I didn't even know it.

7) Unitards are actually flattering. Until they stretch in the water

8) You will attract attention from passers by. People find cameras endlessly fascinating

9) Note to an unnamed boys private school in Perth - please don't kick sand at us in the wind. That's not nice.

10) We would do it again in a heartbeat.
