Cafe{Culture} Festival

The AIVDT crew were at it again last night at the Mt Lawley Cafe and Culture Festival. Wearing their 'alternative and op shop' finest, the dancers took the stage (or the concrete outside Highs and Lows), for the benefit of the crowd at Cinos, Gelare, Globe and the assorted passers by, to the strains of the jazz music playing next door. Despite initially being confused for WAAPA dance students (this was soon clarified!), the girls put on a good show and proved that they DO know what they're doing (thus fulfilling the requirements of their new manifesto). A long time friend who came to watch commented on how much the company had improved and were gelling as a whole, which is fantastic, and shows that the public money in being well spent!
